If you spend your whole life waiting for the storm, you’ll never enjoy the sunshine. – Morris West

From the darkness, the light creeps in
Shining ever so slightly into the darkened den
The wee little fairy who slept so soundly
Began to wake though she was still drowsy

The light continued to dance
bringing wee fairy out of her trance
Standing up in her hidden home
Wee fairy went to where the light shone

It was then that she slowly turned
Away from the fire that brightly burned
Her eyes still darkened by the night
Shunning her face away from the light

Wee fairy soaked in the rays
and reveled in its haze
Her magic was soon restored
A new day-------- to explore

Sunshine, daydream, walking in the tall trees, going where the wind goes
Blooming like a red rose, breathing more freely,
Ride our singin', I'll walk you in the morning sunshine
Sunshine, daydream. Sunshine, daydream. Walking in the sunshine.

“Why's it so sunny?" she repeated.
Zooey observed her rather narrowly. "I bring the sun wherever I go, buddy," he said.”
