{depth of affection}

I love how pictures can make you feel connected to another person, almost as if you’re there. I think something magical happens when you capture those moments, especially if you print them and hang them on your wall. Everytime you walk past them, you feel connected. You feel that emotion again. The sadness, the joy, the moment, the affection between two people, it all comes back.

I loved all the images shared this week. It was so hard to narrow it down to 11. You guys all did a wonderful job.

Oh my goodness, the look in his eyes says it all. They are going to best best friends for life. Fantastic image.

This image caught my eye immediatly. The way the mom’s hand touches his back as if saying,
“it’s going to be ok.” I love the lines, distortion, and angle.

The loving hug, the depth of field…you nailed it.

It looks like a perfect morning. The half eaten bowl of cereal on the table, daddy cuddles, the gorgeous light.
Well done Tia!

That look in her eyes! Time stands still for a moment while you soak in all the newness,
the perfection, the love. fabulous!

Wow! This image is so lovely! I chose this image because of the connection you feel when you see it. The processing is perfect.

Safe is dad’s arms. It captured this week’s theme perfectly.

There’s something magical about the way these two are looking at each other. The dreamy bokeh, it fits perfectly!

As a mom, this image tugs at my heart strings. There is nothing a mother wouldn’t do for her child.
I don’t know what this mom is enduring,
but this image makes me want to give her a hug and tell her everything is going to be okay.

The interaction between these two is so fun. The wrapped arms, the smiles, the affection between the two radiates from this image.

and the winning image is....

Vicki, you knocked this one out of the park. I can almost feel the warmth from these cuddles. Those eyes and the soft caress. Love it!
