Symmetry

We had great submissions this week!  I had such a hard time picking the top ten!  SO many different types of symmetry were represented and such amazing work by everyone!  These are the top ten for the week!

I love the light in this photograph!  The sun flair draws the viewers eye in at almost dead center and then right down to the subject on her tricycle.

This photograph is obviously a mirror image, and shows great use of symmetry.  It also is an abstract photo and clearly shows the intricate symmetry in nature.

I love the leading lines in this photograph!  I also love that the subjects dress matches the play structure, what great use of color.  She is framed right at the top within the yellow arch too!

I am kind of amazed at these little birds, what great little models!  Just sitting there, perfectly spaced for a perfectly symmetrical photograph.  I love how the vertical lines break the photo down even further.

This photograph has really strong leading lines and beautiful color and I love the dreamy overall feel.

It is great how your eyes can be drawn into this photo in two ways.  Tree tops down to green tree in the center and on down to the subjects, or red-brown dirt up to the subjects and onto the green tree and out by tree tops.

I love that this was from one of your fist shoots.  And that you took the time to capture your daughter and her best friend in this identically mirrored image.  Great golden light too!

I am very impressed with the symmetrical pony tails on this cutie!  Someone worked very hard to get the bows to behave that well!  I love the strong central radical symmetry in the lollipop as well!

Adorable.  Two tiny heads and two strong hands with a simple black background.  I love the symmetry and and the pure miracle of two matching baby heads!

Congratulations to Robin Chavez for this weeks top image to be featured on our cover photograph....

This photograph has such wild and free joy!  The symmetry is evident with the child at the very center as well as the perfect V shape in the horizon line.  Yet there is still a feeling of wild and free nature with the pink flowers in the foreground.
