{bond}

I love this especially, because bonds come in many forms.

......................................................

We only let our guard down and let ourselves become this relaxed when we are surrounded by those we have a deep bond with. You can feel the bond here!

......................................................

Excellent use of creativity in the framing here!

......................................................

This is the sweetest ever! I was never this kind as a big sister. Just love!

......................................................

Love that while you can see their sweet kiss, what stands out to me more here are their legs all wrapped up and bonded together in the incredible light!

......................................................

Love this composition and use of romance in this bond!

......................................................

It’s not just the closeness, it’s that soft touch that drew me in here. Talk about a bond!

......................................................

It’s not the nursing here, it’s the expression on her face. It’s the fact that while she is nursing, she shows the normality of this moment - her full comfort, knowing she is “home” bonded with her momma.

......................................................

And because laughter is one of the best ways to get us to bond! Gosh I heart this.

......................................................

This because it’s always amazed me how gentle these amazing, much bigger-than-us creatures are… the trust they find in us is unreal.

......................................................

And the winner is

The story behind this blew me away.

This theme came at the right time for me. The quote that came came along with the theme fits perfectly.  This is me saying goodbye to my 17 year old dog Owen. We put him down the next day.  I struggled with whether or not to post this image. I decided to because I am a documentary photographer and I strive to achieve images that are raw and honest. My 9 year old son shot this image. Clearly, it runs in the family.

Our furry bonds come with a love that runs deep and this image spoke to my heart!
