Wow! What an amazing variety of beauty-in-the-mundane photos this week. You all made my task very difficult!
I love everything about this - the angle of the light, the orange tones, the shadows.
It’s exactly what I consider “beautifully mundane”.

I absolutely love street photography, mostly because I live in the country and don’t get to do it much! This is wonderful - the fact that it is OOF somehow adds to both the mundane nature (everyday street view) and the beauty of it.

There is nothing fancy about this, which is why it works so well. A mundane, small moment shared between two people, and I love it - look at the tenderness in the woman’s face!

As a coffee lover, I could not resist this one. As a photography lover, the composition and lines and curves spoke to me. A great example of taking nearly anything and making it a gorgeous photo.

I have seen this photo before, and each time it makes me want to ask so many questions about the chair, the location, etc. The light is so beautiful on a solitary old chair. For some reason, it makes me think of my Gramps, which is always a good thing. :)

I love that the boy looks tired. Eating a sleepy breakfast is such a mundane task for many but I just love this.
